Dishie Cone - Black

I’m not entirely certain I could put to words how absolutely amazing this yarn is. I bought two cones to make some kitchen sets for my Mother-in-Law. After I made the first dish cloth I was…hooked. I immediately came back and ordered two more cones of different colors for my house. I have larger hands and sometimes I have to readjust my tension because of that but this yarn works up wonderfully. It’s so easy to stitch with no matter what hook i use, wood, aluminum, steel it slides along wonderfully. The fabric when I’m done is incredibly soft and I don’t lose any stitch definition when I wash it. I fully intend to replace all of my kitchen towels and rags with ones made from dishie. I’ve also got projects planned for face cleansing pads, back scrubbies, and loofas. I used another budget friendly cotton yarn to make my first set of dish towels and rags but after this I would never use budget friendly again. Frankly dishie, come or not, is better quality and you’re getting so much more bang for your buck. I’m a changed man with this yarn.

I have already reviewed this yarn. I love Dishie cotton yarn so much that I have ordered more! It is not crisp or stringy like some cottons are.

When crocheting I like to use Cotton yarn. Dishie Cotton yarn was new to me, so I bought 3 colors, but had no project in mind. Then I saw a pattern for a Doggie Place Mat which used Dishie and ony one of the colors was different than mine. At present I am working on the doggie place mat with the Dishie cotton yarn. It is a delight to crochet. I liked it so much that I have since bought more for a door stop.

Just purchased this yarn for the first time I use a lot of cotton yarn and this has now become my new favorite I do wish the cones were in more colors (hint hint). The one thing I love most about the yarn is that it is a soft worse than weight cotton.

This is absolue of my favourite cottons to work with. It’s soft, and very malleable, and does not cause that minor irritation on the top of my finger other (rougher) cottons do. I will definitely be purchasing this cotton again.

I love this stuff! I ordered it in a few colors to make bags. I was expecting it to be rough on my hands like a lot of cotton yarns can be, but it was so soft! And the colors are so pretty. I just wish I could get a cone ize of some of the other dishie colors.

This yarn is wonderful in every way. It is much easier on my hands than other brands. The colors are lovely. I have had no issues with splitting. Please make more colors available on cones.
