This playful blanket will be an instant favorite for any little girl, a sky full of butterflies, surrounded by colorful flowers. The unique multi-colored border adds to the blanket's cheerful appeal. The flowers and butterflies are part of the squares and are worked as you make each square so there is nothing to attach later.

The pattern also includes a step by step tutorial version with 150 pictures and details of each stitch used (84 pictures of the individual squares, 16 pictures of joining the squares, 50 pictures of the border pattern).

The blanket measures approximately 29 ½" square. It can be easily adapted by changing the number of squares. The border will work for any amount of squares.

Complete color information and a square placement chart are included, but you can customize the blanket by changing the number of squares of each type and how they are arranged.
