Received this hook with the crochet kit I purchased. LOVE it! Best wooden hook! Very smooth, never snags like the expensive bamboo hooks I have. The color very pretty! They are longer then most hooks too. Only negative is the size is not engraved on hook.

I looove how beautiful and smooth this hook is! Switching from a cheap bamboo hook that I got at Walmart to this hook made it very clear that the bamboo was far inferior in terms of moving/sliding through the yarn. However, the one thing that the bamboo hook has over this one is its tapered tip/nose. The Caspian hook is completely rounded on the top, which can make it a bit awkward to insert into the right stitch especially for someone who tends to crochet fairly tightly unless I'm making a conscious effort. I wouldn't want it to be super pointy, because then I tend to split yarn and it's just a different set of problems, but I would like it if the WeCrochet wooden hooks were just *slightly* tapered at the tip. If they were, I would definitely, without a doubt buy the full set! As it stands, I'm not sure if I will. I think I'll have to keep using the single hook I got to see if I can get used to it or if the roundness will end up being something that I prefer to avoid.

I bought some really big ones and like the feel, shape, and look of them. I wish the tips were pointier. I don't share the difficulty with the sizes not being shown on the shaft. It would be useful, but a needle gauge will easily indicate the size.

I ordered several of these as a gift and one for myself. I just noticed they aren’t marked with the size. If I had several of these, it would be so difficult to tell the size. Won’t be buying more.

This wonderful hook handles “splitty” Pima cotton like a dream. And the price is fantastic. My only (mild) complaint is that the size isn’t indicated on it.

Beautiful crochet hook. After a few stitches, the wood starts to glide easily against yarn. Hook has a rounded end which may not work for some in picking up next stitch. Keep the sleeve to let you know the hook size. Hook is not marked. I prefer this style of hook, and only use wooden hooks.

They are by far the best hook I've ever used. Smooth as silk in your hand. Just the right weight. Goes through yarn easily without splitting and holds it with just the right amount of "stickiness". I don't think I'll ever buy a different hook. These are going to be all I use once I get all of them. The only drawback I have found is that the size isn't on the hook. But that's pretty easily remedied by simply measuring it. Tl:dr - get them.
