Great yarn. Loved working with it and the garment looks great. The only thing is that the yarn does shed a lot.

It's soft, fluffy and doesn't split. Color's great.

I love this yarn! SO soft, Light, warm and easy to work with. I have made two sweaters for my adult daughter, a pair of leg warmers and a cute little felted purse for my granddaughter. So far I have used four colors, Beehive, Mountain Fern, Red Clay and Moose - they look great in a striped pattern as well as alone. I am now looking for a similar yarn of a smaller weight to make a dress for my granddaughter in Singapore.....this one is too hot.

My first time working with alpaca and I am in awe. It's like making fabric out of air. So easy to work with too. I will be buying more and probably more.

I LOVE THIS YARN!!! I made a sweater out of the Larkspur Heather a couple of years ago and it's still beautiful and soft. So when I was planning a trip to Toronto and New York this year, and knew I'd need warmer accessories than those I usually wear on the west coast, there was only one yarn I wanted to use. I bought the Atlantic Heather this time, and it's such a gorgeous rich color that photos don't do it justice. I'm completely thrilled with the results!

This just became one of my favorite yarns ever. It's super soft, light, fluffy and warm. I bought 4 balls to crochet a shawl and I finished it in about a day and a half because it was just so lovely to work with. Didn't have problems frogging either, which was a nice surprise. Next project will be a sweater, and I suspect I will finish that in no time as well because using this yarn is so fun and motivating!

I'm making the Professor Meow sweater, and have not had any shedding at all. No knots or thin spots in four balls used so far. I do fluff the balls up before using by pulling out a bunch of the middle to make air space, and try to work with a light hand, which seems to help achieve smooth stockinette across rows. It's 70% Alpaca and only 7% Merino, so it's not going to be elastic. I have also dyed the Wonderfluff 'Bare', and did lose fiber during long soaking in the dye bath, so the end result was a thinner yarn, but still fluffy and very usable when dried, without thin spots developing.

I have made a Prof Meow top and a Mini Meow and also an Eldfell they are all gorgeous, soft and fluffy. I love this yarn and just wish for more colours. It makes up so quickly too - even the Eldfell only took 4 days.

The yarn is pretty and lofty, but especially compared with the discontinued Reverie, it is less smooth and soft than I had hoped for a yarn with so much Alpaca. I would not wear this against skin in a cowl or hat, but will make a cardigan as outerwear with this. I used and liked Reverie and hoped this would be a replacement, but alas not to be.

I wanted to make a pair of warm socks for the winter to wear when relaxing. The socks turned out warm and comfy. I made a pattern using a toe up design. They made up quickly. I don't know who well they will wear, but since I'm using them at night when relaxing it shouldn't be a problem. I have extra yarn if I need to darn them. I also made a pair of very warm armwarmers.

When I got this yarn, my daughter said it feels like a kitten and she is right!! It’s very soft! One could even say it’s wonderfully fluffy!! :) My only issue is that it’s not bulky yarn. Not remotely bulky. I’m not sure why it would even be classified in this way, as it is obvious just by looking at it that it’s not bulky. It really should be classified as worsted/light worsted.

I wouldn’t call this bulky because I used size 5.5 & 6.5 mm crochet hooks to work up a hat. But I love this yarn! It’s incredibly soft. Just make sure you don’t make too many mistakes because it’s annoying to frog. One skein is enough to make a baby hat.

I love this yarn. The rich feel and colors meet BOTH of my needs in winter accessories. I wanted to make a very soft, deep cowl, and felted mittens to match. I'm thrilled!

I got some of this yarn for christmas and I made a pair of socks out of it. So soft and warm on my feet. I will be getting more for socks for sure. I would love to see more colors.

Soft, fluffy, lightweight and warm! And the colors are lovely. Only things to be aware of: 1) Frogging can be a little difficult. 2) It has a lovely drape but not a lot of elasticity. Great for shawls, cowls, and cardigans. Maybe not so great for gloves or hats.

Loved this yarn-used the gogi color for a shawl. Discovered when I blocked the shawl that the color ran-through 5 soakings-2 with vinegar, 3 with Eucalan, all in cold water. Last rinse was still slightly tinged. Reds often run. I almost used the extra skein in a striped shawl, though, which would have been a disaster. I have ordered another color, because I love the yarn, but be careful!
