Tuff Puff - Fairy Tale

I love all the yarn and am disappointed that the Mint and White are still on back order. I am making the Christmas Star blanket for my daughter’s birthday. I am in a holding pattern waiting….her birthday is October 30th!!!!!

This is great for pet beds and also felts well.

Yarn knotted together in 25% of the skeins I ordered. With only 44 yards per skein, a knot in a skein seems like it should be second quality. I love the yarn, but very disappointed in quality control.

I wouldn't recommend it because it was surprisingly scratchy compared to other super bulky wool roving. I imagine if you're going to wear it with something and didn't make a turtleneck it would be okay. If I hadn't forgotten and then gone past the return period I'd have returned it unfortunately. The color however was just like the picture.

This yarn is actually very reasonably priced and I recently bought yarn from wool and the gang which was 20 dollars for the same exact thing. It is basically the exact same feel and material and I will not be buying their wool anymore just because of how good the quality and price is with tuff puff. I am really happy with the feel and thickness of this yarn as well.

I love working with this yarn! It is one of my faves! I can make almost everything with it. I make slippers with this yarn and everyone loves them! I also love all of the great colors that they have...

I made two personal throw blankets with this and they both shed like bananas. Unfortunately I bought the yarn for the second blanket before the review from the recipient of the first. Would not buy again for a blanket.

I really love this yarn! It works well in any winter accessory and in blankets. I love making headwraps, cowls, baby blankets, regular blankets.. Just a lot of projects work with this yarn and I highly recommend it.

Great yarn, but you need to make an orange so we can make rainbow things with this yarn!

I do appreciate the value and super bulky-ness of this yarn. Projects work up very rapidly! However, I will not buy it again. It becomes fuzzy quickly with wear and the winter accessories that I have made for the kids shed fibers which get on their clothes and in their mouths.

It is a great yarn, not as soft as I would have thought from the name but it is a really nice wool and I will be buying more again.

Love this yarn - it's a lot of fun to work with! It is nice and soft and because it's 1-ply there is no need to worry about splitting. Will definitely repurchase.

I bought the Tuff Puff woodsmoke sampler. The colors are great and I do like the feel of the wool. It's heavy, thick, and warm. Perfect for winter hats and accessories. My only real complaint is that when tightening the stitches around the crown of my hat, pulling on the tail to tighten the knot caused the wool to come apart.

I ordered the Sweetheart and Minerals sampler packs so I received white, black, silver, marina, conch, celestial, mint, and fairytale. Needless to say, I was very excited when the shipment came in. The yarns are beautiful, colors are vibrant (I especially love Fairy Tale which is more of a rich reddish-purple than the photo shows) and yarn itself is very soft and works up quickly. However, the yarn can loosen and break if you are too rough so I wouldn't recommend it for projects involving a lot of pulling like cabling. Overall, great soft yarn for quick projects.

LOVE Tuff Puff! It's super soft and the thickness of the yarn is pretty consistent. This is my first super bulky yarn I have tried and I wasn't disappointed.
