Additional details
Stroll Tweed is perfect for gift socks because of its machine washable convenience, not requiring special care on the part of the recipient. The rich, solid colors show off texture, lace, and cables. The neutral neps of tweed add flecks of interest to simple stitches and textured knits but are subtle enough to accentuate rather than interfere with all but the most complex patterns. The understated neps also work well with striping, Fair Isle, and stranding, bringing a unifying element and additional texture to colorwork. With Merino softness and Donegal depth, this easy-care sock yarn is a terrifically tweedy treat for your feet.
Note: For best machine wash results, turn your socks inside out and wash in cold water on a delicate cycle.

I LOVE this yarn! Beautiful tweedy look, fantastic colors, and wonderfully soft! One of my absolute favorites in any weight for just about any project.

I LOVE this yarn. I am using the earl grey color way for the Interference shawl pattern and it is coming out sooo beautifully. Its so soft and has such a nice drape. I want to use this for future projects in other colors.

I love working with this soft tweedy yarn. It's affordable and offers a great selection of colors. Beautiful sweater first...socks next.

I was forced to make my own diabetic socks because the store bought ones were expensive and never fit well. I made a couple of pair with this yarn and it has lasted over 2 years without any holes developing. It is an wonderful sock yarn. I will get more

This has been a favorite since the beginning. I have had a pair of fingerless gloves that I knitted at least 10-years ago & properly taken care of still look brand new! There has been a few pills, but that is understandable. Washed in kookaburra & laid flat to dry, you can't go wrong. I recommend kookaburra for all hand washables-wool or not. This yarn is extremely rugged for socks if you combine wooly nylon with the yarn for the heals, toes & possibly the foot area. It just gives added wearabilty if you wear them allot. I believe the tweed is more durable than the reg. stroll with the addition of the donegal.

I originally purchased this yarn because I loved the colour. But I absolutely love working with it. Its quality is excellent and finished socks are amazingly soft and beautiful to wear.

Its soft and fairly nice to work with, I've been having a little problem with it splitting but not too bad. i love the way it fluffs up when its not under tension!

I bought this with no expectations just to try, I loved the tweedy look to the yarn. It arrived today and is already on my own, this sock yarn is just glorious - so incredibly sift and beautiful, a sheer delight to knit. I will be coming back for more. It's a shame there are so few pale colours though.

I just gave a pair of socks to my daughter who said she could never wear wool socks. She just texted me a picture of her wearing these socks and she loves them. I never told her they were wool. She wants another pair!

This yarn makes beautiful socks. I have found a Ben Franklin store that I buy the little packets of reinforcing yarn for the heels and then they last way longer.
