Additional details
We've taken our beloved color-transitioning Chroma yarn and created a stunning 3-ply twist! Each of this yarn's three plies are individually dyed with the same classic Chroma colorway before being spun together. The result is a sturdy yet soft yarn with a thick-and-thin strand that mimics beautiful handspun yarn; no two hanks will ever be the same! Though Chroma Twist Bulky can be crocheted at a variety of gauges and densities, we recommend it for bulky-weight projects stitched at a more open gauge so that the soft fibers can bloom with blocking.
Chroma Twist Bulky is perfect for quick projects that need a twist of color: hats and scarves, kid's garments, home decor, and more! And because this yarn is a blend of superwash wool and nylon, your projects will be machine washable too!

I am using Sedona and Galentine for a cowl and this yarn is beautiful! I am really enjoying the color shifts as it varies from skein to skein. It is soft enough to wear against my skin and it gets softer as I work with it. My only complaint is 2 of the hanks were a bit tangled. I had to partially wind by hand until I got past it, but it wasn't that big of a deal. I will definitely buy more in the future.

This yarn is pretty soft. I got 2 hanks of the color Vermont. Both had at least 1 knot in each skein. The gradient of each when worked up is very nice. The color photo online is almost washed out for Vermont. What I received is much more vibrant. This is on the thinner side of a bulky weight yarn.

I bought the Red Velvet. Beautiful colors but how can this possibly be called bulky?

I ordered Sandpiper for a shawl I wanted to make. (Mantra Shaw by Lion). I made this because it reminded me of the ocean. The shawl looks likes the beaches at Destin Fl. It’s amazing!

I ordered 4 being discontinued confetti of the bulky twist. I needed 3 and I do love it. Soft and colors are bright. I added a lighter weight alpaca in solid blue Steele and it brings out the blues more. I already started my project but later when I wound the skeins into cakes, the last skein changed to solid non twist color with part a solid white. Obviously a bad batch and now I can't find the color. I'm crossing my fingers I only need the 3 and I will cut where the error started and use the bad part for a scrap project. Its always best to order extra, lesson Learned.

Just opened my order and the yarn colors took my breath away. Vermont is way more gorgeous in person. Also soft and squishy. Just perfect. Can't decide if I should get more Vermont and Surf's Up or different colorways. Love, love, love this yarn!!!

I was so excited when this yarn came out that I immediately bought several skeins of various colors. And I am glad I did! It is soft and the colors are gorgeous! Much like the other Chroma yarns I've used, this one does have thick and thin spots in it, but the yarn is fairly consistent. I am using Drawing Room to make a mermaid tail blanket and it is perfect! I just wish the skeins were a bit bigger. The only thing that disappointed me is that in a couple of the skeins, there have been abrupt color change spots where the yarn is knotted (or in one case, the yarn was just kind of mashed together like they had tried twisting it together) but the knots are pretty secure so it's not the end of the world. At least not for me.

I am using this yarn to make cowls. You get 127 yds per skein, so my cowls are not too skimpy. I've ordered 10 skeins so far, in various colors, and so far I've liked all the colors. The yarn is soft enough to wear next to your skin. My only complaint is that the yarn is a little fuzzy. Not a problem if you are making hats/scarves that type of thing. But I don't think I'd make an entire sweater using this yarn.

Love this soft, bulky yarn however, I order 2 skeins of Vermont colorway. One skein was beautifully gradated while the other was just a mix of colors without defined change. Gift scarf will now be my scarf instead.

This yarn is so much fun and the colors are vibrant! I ordered Ferris Wheel - colors did not look exactly like online, but I love it! Easy to work with.
