When you’ll use it
Double crochet is a common stitch about twice the height as a single crochet and twice as tall as it is wide. This is a common stitch for hats, shawls, garments, and is often used in crochet lace stitch patterns.
How to do it
Yarn over, insert hook in indicated stitch or space, yarn over, pull up a loop, (yarn over, pull through 2 loops) twice.

5. Yarn over.
6. Pull through 2 loops.
