Puff stitch (PS): Yarn over, insert hook in indicated stitch or space, yarn over, pull up a loop and draw it up to the same height as surrounding stitches (3 loops on hook), (yarn over, insert hook in same stitch or space, yarn over, pull up a loop and draw it up to the same height as surrounding stitches) 4 times (11 loops on hook), yarn over, pull through all 11 loops.
Note: This stitch has many variations, be sure to check the special stitches description in your pattern before working the stitch.

Pro Tip: Make sure you pull up your loops to the same height each time and keep them fairly loose. You have to pull that hook through many loops at the end, so loose stitches will help!
