Make 1
Locate the front horizontal bar. It is the top loop laying horizontally between the stitch just worked and the next stitch.
Insert your hook under the front vertical bar, pushing your hook toward the back of the work, then pull up a loop.
Continue as instructed in the pattern. Here, I’ve worked 2 Tunisian simple stitches after the Make 1.
