I received this as a gift after I complained that a sweater I had sent to the dry cleaners had been ruined. The sweater was so terribly pilled that I was reluctant to wear it in public. It looked like I had rummaged it from the bottom of the rag barrel! I tried to use a lady's electric shaver (as I'd seen mentioned somewhere), but it didn't even begin to make a difference in the way it looked. Pills and more pills! UGH! When I received this one in the mail, I sat right down with the sweater at the dining table and started on it. It took quite a while to remove all the fuzz—so be patient! In the end, I had shaved off about two large handfuls of pills. The sweater looked like NEW. I was amazed how good it looked. I would definitely recommend this tool to anyone who has a problem with fuzz and pills on their woollen items. If I could give it better than an "Excellent" rating, I would do so.

I received this as a gift. I only used it for a couple of years before it died on me. It did a good job, though. I would prefer an electric model.

I'm ecstatic! The cynic in my was reluctant to buy this at $3.99. I figured yah right...it's going to be a piece of junk! But it was NOT! I thought my old pair of navy blue slacks were destined for the trash. But now they are close to "like new." I'm thrilled and would tell anyone that you don't need to hesitate. I may be purchasing several as door prizes for an event where I work!
