I purchased the peacock colour of the brava 500 worsted yarn size 4. The colour looks a beautiful deep blue tone but is actually a regular green colour . So disappointed as I bought 4 of these large sizes.. Shipping back costs always a problem. I know there is also peacock colour in the bulky 5 , not sure if same blah green colour..

This yarn is simply the best. I make 40+ charity items a year. I have tried other yarns, but always come back to the Brava line. I especially appreciate the large balls so there is no weaving in of ends. Plus the yarn glides on my crochet hook. Thanks for a great product.

I have purchased this yarn before but in other colors. It is soft and works up well. I will make a baby afghan.

This is my favorite worsted weight yarn. It's easy to work with, is soft, has good stitch definition and is easy to care for. I love the wide variety of colors that are available.

I ordered this yarn for the Tunisian crochet CAL that Ashlea Schmaker is running right now. I love the shade of yellow and am looking forward to make a few squares with it!

I have always loved using Brava and this is my first time using Brava stripe. The colors are great and like all Brava, the yarn knits up nicely (I've used both DK and Worsted). I made a chemo hat for a guy with it,and it came out great.

I love Brava in general, but Brava 500 does even more. First it is less expensive if you do a lot of knitting (in my case). Also, the large sken means that I can work a large blanket without having multiple yarns to weave in. 1 500gr skein of pink, and 1 500gr skein of white, allowed me to make 3 baby blankets for charity and still have enough from the pink and white to make baby hats to match. Win-win.bar

I love that this yarn is economical. I wish there were more colors. It’s perfect for making baby blankets for charity or kid’s sweaters. Love it.

Just finished a cardigan for my granddaughter. Love this yarn. Super soft, no knots. Yes, yarn barf at the beginning, but no more than the competition.

I was disappointed in this yarn when I used it for amigurumi. It split and snagged. It feels very drapey, so is not appropriate for something needing structure.

I love this yarn, except that I never can find the center pull. I have to rip out the entire middle to find it.

Love the yarn...but the center pull is so well hidden that I have WADS of yarn barf out of each end...will have to rewind b4 I use it. Extremely irritating....will not buy again! Will have to calm awhile before I tackle the other color I bought. This is an absolute thumbs down with me.

Loved working with this yarn! I combined it with two other Brava colors and working with three strands held together and a Q hook, I made a crochted weighted afghan.

I am thrilled to fine your yarn. The fact that you have several colors that I love in the super large, soft yarn is wonderful. I have receive my first order last week and have already begun several projects with your yarn. I love it. Thank you for offering a quality, affordable product.

I, too, love the size of this skein but it is really hard to pull from the center as it tangles really bad. Great size to use for blankets and larger projects; you do not have a knot showing, now that is a perk in itself.

I would have given this 5 stars except for the fact that when I had used about 1/2 of the yarn, I had to discard several yards because it was not twisted at all for several inches - just very linty and then there would be several inches so tightly twisted that it was almost sock weight. Fortunately I think I will still have enough to finish my project. I did start from a center pull and had used lots of the yarn before I encountered the problem and the outer threads look good with no variations in the size. I ordered white and it definitely is a creamy white not the white-white I preferred.

I love brava yarn, and am super excited to be able to use this 500g skein, but please make it in more colors!
