Additional details
City Tweed yarn begins with alpaca and Merino fibers dyed two different colors and then blended together to make a subtly rich, lustrous heather. We chose neutral color Donegal tweed neps to incorporate into the 2-ply yarn. Donegal is a series of viscose neps (think slubs or bits of lint) that are suspended in a very fine acrylic mesh which allows them to be spun alongside the longer alpaca and Merino fibers. In the yarn, you won't be able to see the acrylic web at all, and the neps will appear either on the surface of the yarn or spun inside the yarn strand. The high ratio of neps gives City Tweed a traditional appeal. The use of Merino and alpaca makes it soft and warm. This weight is gorgeous in two-color knitting.

This is softest yarn with such a brilliant sheen. I purchased Desert Sage and I also love the color. I cannot suggest any improvements. Just please do not discontinue this line1
Great yarn, color not as expected

Great yarn; I ordered it for a 2nd project. Love it. BUT the Jacquard color is much more like GREEN than BLUE. Lots of gray in it, too. Not what I was hoping for. Going back.

I do like this yarn. I made cabin socks and it is perfect. One word though. It takes 3 balls for one pair of socks.

I just made a scarf for a friend from this yarn and his first comment was, "not itchy at all!" I loved working with this yarn. It's very soft and shows stitch definition well. Definitely plan to make another project with it soon!

I love this yarn!!! Just finished crocheting a custom boat neck drop shoulder pullover sweater in Obsidian. What a lovely warm grey color. It produced a super soft and springy fabric, and what quality at a fabulous price! I'm sure going to buy again because now I want something made with it ??

I really enjoyed crocheting with this yarn. The only drawback was that the colors on website appear more saturated than in reality, which is expected with 100% wool yarn.

Wonderful yarn to work with, excellent quality and my end product is absolutely beautiful. Wet blocking was a little tricky and took a lot of work to bring my sweater pieces into shape but the results were worth the effort.

A versatile luscious yarn, soft and silky to the touch, warm and rustic to the eye, a perfect country house sort of yarn for lady and gentlemen farmers or the horsey set. I'm finishing my third sweater out of this and the darker shades are fabulous in cables for men, and the lighter softer tones make wonderful color-work or sleek fitted clothes for ladies. I also made one XXXL cardigan with a carry along yarn of a same tone pure alpaca for a bulky weight for a really big guy. They were all beautiful and so soft for the rugged look they yielded. I always buy lots when it goes on sale. But its already a bargain at full price.

I LOVE this yarn. I've worked with this DK and the Aran and they're both wonderful. It drapes beautifully. It's super squishy and just soft and wonderful. It has a mild little halo but its not fuzzy to the point that it sheds. It's the perfect tweed yarn!

Absolutely delicious to work with! I was worried that it would be scratchy like all the other tweed yarns I've seen but it's not at all! It's soft and plus, with a nice spring and great feel as you crochet with it. Purchased several skeins to make a shawl and all I can do is pet it. It's simply lovely.

I am not a huge fan of tweed but I purchased some of this yarn to felt with. When it arrived I was so gobsmacked by its beauty, sheen and softness that I didn't have the heart to work it into a felt item rather I worked it into a lovely simple lace scarf and even purchased more.
