love the brightness of this color. I make socks usually with choma yarn my favorit. I have used other sock yarns and they are too thick for me. I love all your chrom yarn. The yarn is easy to work with for socks and shawls.

This one I did not think it looked as the picture. My daughter bought the same one so, I sent her the picture she said hers looked the same. I am making socks with it maybe the colors will change.

This yarn has so much potential but changing the coloring sequence to mirror from sequential really limits the possibilities for this yarn. It ends up with uneven colour distribution and destroys the ombré stripe effect. And some of the colours are just not quite right. Like the new Tiki is nice and vivid and bright... except for the brown/beige colour that ruins it. I wish I could take over the design of this yarn, they should take inspiration from Freia brand.

Just like its worsted counterpart, this is a fabulous yarn. I don't understand why some reviewers are giving it a bad rating for its thick/thin texture. The description of the product clearly states it has a thick/thin texture, like a handspun yarn. If you need a uniform yarn, this is not for you.

At first I too, hesitated to purchase this yarn due to the reviews. I ordered 6 balls of yarn anyways because of the colors. I am so glad that I did. The colors are absolutely beautiful!! So vibrant and blend so well. Yes the yarn will get thin but does not weaken in strength, and quickly will return to normal. It does get thick but again it has not made a difference in the quality of my shawl projects. I have never found any knots where colors were joined. I will definitely purchase these again!! "Surfs Up" is a beautiful teal!!!

I love this yarn. In places it does go from thin to thick, but I just feel that’s part of the charm. I prefer this to Noro or other color changing yarns. This is my go to yarn for everything from socks to sweaters. I am never disappointed with the results

So many of my friends love this yarn, but I guess I can say I like it. Like others, it does split if you have a tighter tension, but my problem is with the colors. Twice now I have made scarves and twice in the dye scheme one color was left out completely so the scarves look wonky. I didn't mind the variations in width as that is a purposeful design to give it a more "roving" type look. I only make scarves with it but would make a top I think. I have used the worsted and the dk. I am getting ready to make another scarf, so if this one is also missing a color, then I know I'm getting a raw deal. I bought something like 10 skeins and won't be giving them away as I thought if they keep coming out wonky.

Pros: The color is really nice. It's very soft Nice stitch definition Cons: It splits too easily Tinking/Frogging can only be done once or twice before it's way too fuzzy. It won't felt, but it sure feels like it's about to. Yarn goes from aran to lace. This is not a consistent fingering. Some places it's more like roving than like yarn Note: If you want a smooth yarn, this isn't it. It's not a fuzzy as some, but it's still got a bit of a 'halo' I don't think I'd buy this again, but the colors were exactly what my son wanted.

Love it so far. It is soft and strong. It does split a little but tolerably so. There is some variance in the thickness. I am using the red velvet and love the colors. I would point out that the color swatch shown would suggest that that it is more red than it really is. There is actually more pink than you might expect which was great for my purposes.

Crocheted a lovely pullover sweater with colorway Pegasus and it turned out beautifully. For the thick/thin character of the yarn I used a hook that worked well for the thicker yarn portions and I adjusted the neck and chest for the larger hook. I don't know if it was the crochet or the hook, but I didn't have the splitting problem noted in some of the reviews. And I haven't had any problems with pilling. The sweater is so soft and squishy with beautiful coloring.

I love this yarn! I wish we had a place where we could buy from people who aren't happy with their purchases.

This yarn is very delicate. If you do not crochet/knit with care, it will pull apart. I have not had any issues with this yarn, in fact, I truly think it's spectacular! The colors are beautiful and the yarn is nice and soft. I have used about a dozen colors to make ribbed beanies (crochet) with a very small hook. They have come out gorgeous. I would recommend this yarn!

This is my first time using Chroma. The texture and color changes are making my shawl unique. It only frizzels if you constantly pull the yarn out after starting a project. I began a difficult project and made my fair share of mistakes. After the tenth start over it frizzled a little. Lesson learned - I experiment with the cheap stuff until I understand. I am matching this shawl with a solid from the tonal line. Hardest part is deciding which one. Plus this yarn works great on small & larger size needles. I have used size 4 and 8 with great success. Thanks for the sale or I may not have tried it.

The downside to this yarn is its thick and thin quality. It is NOT only fingering weight. There are a lot of spots where it is too thick. However, I still give it a four-star rating because I LOVE the colors and the feel of the yarn. It is soft and I love the finished look since it has a low twist.

I actually love this yarn- The long color changes work out so well for cowls and shawls. I have not had any problems with radical changes in thickness as mentioned in some reviews. I find it easy to work with and have bought more of it for more projects- the colors are beautiful.

I am also one who loves this yarn! It works best if you knit or crochet loosely with this yarn. I've knitted and crocheted several scarves with it and I'm very happy the finished products. One of my faves!

I am one who loves this yarn. One, it is not so measured in the variegations, the colors all always slightly different in length. Two, I enjoy the thick and thins. Again, this gives me a free flowing feel. Three, as I am weaving it, the patterns are showing up so beautifully. I have bought 5 balls this time and plan on buying more.

I got a ball of this for free when purchasing something else. I love the colors!!! I crocheted a scarf in a ripple pattern and it was self-stripping and just gorgeous!! I ordered a few more balls and am looking for something else to make with it. I haven't had any of the problems others are having.

I purchased this yarn to stripe with palette yarn. Very disappointed, it is getting fuzzy on the surface of my work and not the look I was hoping for. Might be OK on it's own but not pleased with the results. It is not plied or twisted so difficult to work with
