I purchased more chroma worsted yarn, both lupine and valentine to add to my stash because I love this yarn. Haven't crocheted anything yet, but I will soon. These colors are just breathtaking. My favorite yarn

This is my second order of this yarn that I used to make the Comet Keyhole Scarf in the Harvest Moon book. I loved the yarn along with the pattern, so I’m intending to use this color for another Keyhole Scarf!

I love this yarn! I used the first yarn I had gotten to make the Comet Keyhole Tunisian Scarf in the Harvest Moon book. I purchased this one and more to make more of these scarves for gifts.

More Chroma yarn, my favorite. I used this yarn to make a hat and neckerchief set for a dear friend who is a former surfer. He lived the set. The yarn is soft and wonderful to use .

Chroma is my favorite yarn of all the yarns. The color combinations are outstanding and unique. Cousteau is my favorite, probably because when I was growing up his show was on every week. The blues, greens and purple are beautiful together. I have made hats and scarves and the people I gift always love the colors. The yarn is great to work with and soft

I really wanted to like this yarn but it does not feel like worsted weight. At some points it played dangerously close to Fingering. I compared some segments of this yarn with my fingering weight yarn on hand just to be sure. It is a single ply that is fluffed up with variations in thickness here and there but it never got to the Worsted thickness I was expecting. This is really frustrating when you want to work up a specific project in mind. Also, once it’s worked up, it loses its soft feel for some reason. The swatch I made had a strange plastic like feel and had “wiry” spots. I will keep working up the project to see how it holds. Love the colors that are offered and the colors transitions beautifully but lesson learned, it’s best to shop for yarn you’ve never worked with before in person.

I have been using Chroma yarn for years and love it. It's soft and silky and easy to work with. And the COLORS are magnificent! It makes me smile some time just looking at them.

I LOVE the stitch definition of this yarn!! It's SO soft!! The variance in thickness doesn't bother me. This is my first time using Chroma Worsted and I know I'll be buying it again!

Both the black and smoothie colors had huge puff/fuzzballs coming loose from the yarn. Makes it look worn as soon as you unwind it from the donut skein. The thin areas didn't bother me too much. I crocheted with it, using the wood hook provided in the Facets Cowl kit. No splitting. I'm glad I didn't order more of this because the fuzzies make it look like it's been run over a few times when it hasn't even been worn once.

I have been using Chroma worsted for years. It's one of my favorites. It is extremely soft and easy to work with. I have not experienced anything negative about this yarn as others have expressed. My only complaint is there are not as many colorways as there once were. I hope you bring back some of the old colors as well as more new ones. I live on a very small budget so have not purchased as much as I would like but love all the ones I have.
Love the feel and colors

I bought two of these- red velvet and lake front. I adore multicolored yarn and really wanted to love this yarn. But it confuses me. The red velvet was full of so many knots; it was ridiculous. The lake front is okay. So far, only one knot. The yarn is soft and has vibrant colors until it starts shedding, which it does so very easily.

I love this yarn. It is top rate. I am confused and baffled by those commenting about it being inconsistent in thickness. The description of the yarn clearly states it has a thick/thin texture. "Chroma is a single ply yarn that has differences in thickness that gives a handspun look to your finished projects." Reading the reviews is good, but you also need to read the description of the product.

This is beautiful yarn. As for the complaints about it being thick and thin, as says so in the description as well as that it is a single ply. I like that it adds some variation in texture. I have not had any issues, but do have to be a little more careful as it does split somewhat due to it being single ply.

I really enjoy the colors of this yarn, but the yarn itself can have inconsistencies in the ply, resulting in lumps at one extreme and yarn that falls apart at the other end. I'm absolutely in love with how the colors change and think it's perfect for the baby blanket that I'm making, but I wish more care would be given to producing a sturdy product that I won't have to spend forever rejoining.

I love this yarn, but I am so missing the old colorways!!! Where, oh where, is Sugar Cookie?? Please bring back the old variety of bright colours!!!

I'm here again to review this updated version of Chroma. While the softness and unique consistency is as great as ever. What I find lacking is the vibrancy that this brand carried! The colors are saturated, but not as eye catching. I've received so many messages on my Lollipop pieces, asking where they can find that colorway. PLEASE LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS! You had such beautiful and brilliant colors, with Lollipop reigning supreme-at least consider making something similar!

Love this yarn. I bought Neon and Party Hat, have worked with both. One ball of Party Hat wouldn't pull from the center and I ended up with a knotted mess, so had to cut it and ended up with three small balls. Wish I could order another ball of it, but see that you have discontinued that colorway, so I'm going to have to try to piece together the three smaller balls in a way that seems to make sense of the color changes. I haven't noticed the inconsistency of the yarn as much as others -- but I'm working in two stranded Fair Isle type patterns, so it wouldn't be particularly noticeable. Please bring back the old colorways -- add them to the line as you couldn't have too many choices in this fiber!

I LOVE this yarn and can honestly say it's one of my all-time favorites. Others seem to not like the inconsistency, but that's one of the things I love. Also, I find single-ply yarn incredibly easy to work with as it's not stringy and just glides along my crochet hook. I've made hats, scarves, and mostly blankets with this and it's beautiful.
