This Robot pattern uses the bright colors of Knit Picks Brava Worsted to create a classic red barrel shaped robot. The Robot has floppy arms, but his legs are strong so he can stand on his own. He is made entirely with yarn, stuffing and felt there are no hidden wires or inserts.
A cute and cuddly gift for kids, sci fi geeks or anyone who wants a personal robot army.
The Robot pattern is for an Intermediate knitter and uses the techniques of short row shaping, picking up stitches and some interesting grafting techniques. There is very little sewing in this pattern. Instructions for how to close the holes made by short row shaping are included in the pattern along with other photos and links to special blog entries made by the designer with additional hints and tips.
