Yarn is not very soft but has great structure, which is good because I'm making a pillow. Crocheting with it is a bit fiddly because yarn is rather splitty. Makes me stitch looser than normal.

love that product color is good and for knitting I recommend it did a few hat for winter with it and cowls. Quality and price is very nice, I will certainly buy it more in the future.

Love this yarn!! I bought 20 skeins for the Blocks and Ribs throw. Only used 10 for the throw, so am making a second for myself! I have not had it split at all. And it is makes a comfy, cozy blanket! I would not want to make it during the summer, though!

This is a nice quality Aran or Heavy Worsted Weight yarn. Definitely not the equivalent of the Wool of the Andes Bulky yarn.

I personally found this yarn easy to work with, but not the coziest (in other words, softest), and I did notice it had a tendency to split at times. I was still able to make a very nice baby blanket with it, however, and I like that it's Superwash - a good feature to have for a baby blanket!

I give this an excellent rating ONLY because I use it in items calling for worsted weight. WOTA in worsted is too fine for the designation, and the bulky weight is only worsted weight. If you like WOTA, just know that you need to choose the next weight up for your projects. If you do, you'll love it. I'm quite happy using bulky for all my worsted projects, and the colors are beautiful.

I ordered two skeins of this wool in grey for my hat and I am in love, I have yet to wear it due to summer months but I've already had multiple people ask me for a hat in the same wool. It works really well and even when I made a mistake and unstitched a few of them it bounced back to its original state. will order again.

I love this yarn. It is soft and easy to crochet. I bought Briar Heather to make a beanie for my hubby and I am buying more to make one for me and one for my father in law.

i love love the color - i got noble heather... however! this is supposed to be bulky. its not, like at all. I can barely call it heavy worsted. idk if its just this brand or what but WOTA yarn always seems thinner than its supposed to be, which is annoying when trying to follow a pattern and then things end up being smaller than it should be. I have to start this project over now. not terribly happy about that

I purchased a bulk order of this yarn in bare. It's pretty soft and squishy - I've just started using it for my first sweater. I would describe the weight as "heavy", not "bulky", but it's a great yarn nonetheless!

Beautiful, soft, quality yarn! Noble Heather is a gorgeous color! I have Blossom heather and love that too. Thank you for the sale!

I made a shawl from this and it turned out awesome! I wanted a shawl to be worn over a jacket or as it for the cool Canadian Spring and fall, or the less than freezing winter weather, and it is perfect. Actually I would wear 3 seasons for sure. It drapes beautifully (8mm needles) and it is soft (not super soft, but I did not expect it to be). Will def. purchase again. I used Dove Heather and Marble Heather, stunning together!

I agree with other reviewers that this yarn is more of a Worsted weight than Bulky. Fortunately, the hat pattern I plan to use this yarn for has directions for Worsted and Bulky weights. Soft enough for a hat.

Using doubled strands and large needles (13) I made an afgan. It came out beautiful, a bit stretchy but soft and cozy. The yarn is closer to worseted weight than bulky. It took 18 skeins, but it's quite large...maybe 60" square.

This wool is a bit on the rough side, even after washing. I agree with a previous poster that it feels a bit sticky. It doesn't seem to have as much spring or bounce as other wools that I have worked with. I ordered the grass green and the color bled quite a bit during washing. Also, I don't think it's bulky, more like heavy worsted.

I ordered this yarn in bamboo heather and it has lovely flecks of purple and gray. I'm making a blanket for my mom's wedding coming up next summer and the squares are coming out perfectly. I love the way they look after blocking. Can't wait to see how it comes out. Hoping there is no short supply of this color!

The wool is pretty bulky as expected, fairly easy to work with, but it's not as soft as I expected it to be. It will be warm, for sure, but not sure I would make more items with this particular wool.

Great yarn and color, just not as bulky as I expected it to be.

I absolutely love this yarn and wish I bought more. I purchased 4 colours and they were true to if not better than displayed. I used a bamboo hook at 6.5mm and it worked up really easily. I made a crocheted blanket 70cm x 70cm and had it completed in 3 nights. I haven't washed it yet but would love to see how it does wash up. It feels soft, not super soft but soft enough and sturdy. I am going to buy more right now. The right yarn at the right price with the right colours for my crochet blanket making.

This is soft wool (not super super soft, but definitely nice). I just received the Fjord Heather which is a stormier, darker color than I'd expected. I found it kind of drab, but interesting and neutral. My coworkers loved it however and one is actually purchasing it from me so I don't need to return. The picture is not quite accurate on the screen.
