Additional details
When our mills spin our yarns, a small amount is left over from each batch. Instead of wasting it, we work with our mills to create new limited-edition yarns, and this year's Upcycle Alpaca Sport, a sport weight blend of alpaca, wool, and acrylic, lends itself to sweaters, cowls, hats, and much more. It is soft enough for next-to-skin wear, but rugged enough to keep you warm all winter long.
Upcycle is made with recycled fibers that vary in size, causing slight variations in yarn thickness from skein to skein. We recommend swatching before starting a project.

I've used this yarn for an ear warmer/headband in Tunisian crochet and I can confidently say it has become my favorite yarn, which is unfortunate because the very nature of it makes it a limited run. It is crazy soft and I honestly just didn't want to stop stitching although it was getting super late and I was very tired. The yarn is twisted firmly enough that there is no splitting at all and just makes me want to keep going. I've shown up late to the party and there are only grays and browns remaining, which I'm okay with because I'm a gray yarn person, but this yarn actually made me enjoy the dark brown of Truffle. I can't even be upset at the care instructions because I legit wouldn't have dared put that in the washer even without instructions. It's just too good to risk it

This quickly became my favorite yarn. Much lighter and more drapey than Brava Sport. I made a stitch sampler to test the pattern for an openwork top, and the whole thing frogged without a snag when I needed the yarn for the real thing. Truly a pleasure to work with. I hope the clearance prices indicate getting rid of old stock to make way for new rather than discontinuation.

Beautiful yarn to work with, so soft. I was introduced to this yarn by joining the not your average granny crochet a long. Ordered quite a few colours and they are all so gorgeous, I really enjoyed working with them. Bought both the worsted and sport weights, and like the fact that the worsted is not a true worsted as I prefer lighter yarns. Purchased more of this yarn as it was on a crazy good sale and even though I live in the UK it was too good to miss. Will definitely purchase again.

Super soft yarn, but color is not true to photo. I ordered sapphire and the yarn I received looks more like the picture of slate than sapphire. All the labels say sapphire, so I'm assuming I received the correct color and the discrepancy is in the photo.

I absolutely love this yarn. The stitch definition is phenomenal.
