The patches can be stitched or slip stitched. You can add a snap or zipper closure on top. Though with their thick knit-like top edging the pouches keep their shape and contents perfectly as is.
Pattern is written for worsted yarn but can be worked in sport or bulky yarn making smaller or larger patches. Solid patches and back of Small Pouch can be made in same color as sunflower edging, or in contrasting color.
