Taffy Swoncho
This swancho is where retro crochet meets modern crafting! The granny stitch neckline, with a nod to stranded yokes of yore, is the perfect complement to this contemporary silhouette- somewhere between a sweater and a poncho. A folded-double ribbing is worked in turned rows and slip-stitched to form a circular neck opening. The main body is worked in a granny stitch pattern, from the ribbing downward in joined rounds, increasing every few rounds to create a cone shape. Body is divided for arms and continued to bottom edge without increases. Arms are made separately in turned rows, seamed and then stitched in armhole openings.
