WeCrochet Dots Crochet Hook Set

These were disappointing. $25 for 9 hooks feel like a really great deal, but the quality just isn't there. 4 hooks out of the 9 had a really rough texture to the aluminum shaft, which made them almost impossible to use. They also just happened to be the larger size hooks that I'm most likely to use. I contacted Customer Service and they responded right away by sending me a replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement set was even worse than the first one. Save your money and invest in some better quality hooks instead.

These Hooks are ok. The main feature I like is the comfortable handle. The length extends past my hand. The quality of the metal is not the best. I attempted to use the 2mm hook, as I went to complete a double crochet the hook bent. Also the finish on the hook is a matte finish which causes the yarn to catch and not glide. Nice attempt

These hooks have become a firm favourite with me. I now have 2 sets and will probably buy more. I love the longer handles and the grip is perfect for me and I love crocheting with them and adore the colours and the price is great value for money even with shipping to the UK

First full set of mental hooks and really enjoy the smooth glide. Really like the extended length of hook handle as much more comfortable than traditional 5.5 - 6" handles. Only complaint is length of hook shaft between hook and handle. Doing lots of clusters and hard to maneuver hook when 4-5 loops on hook, as slippery enough loops fall off. Making the shaft even 1/2 inch longer would make it easier to use. It would also be great if you did a second set of large hooks, maybe 6.5mm (K) - 10mm (N/P).

I love these. Nice length, the handle is smooth and glides thru the yarn so nicely. The hooks are not heavy at all. I give them a 9 out of 10.

Very disappointed in the design of these hooks. The dots stick up above the normal handle material. If you crochet a lot like I do, this raised area causes sensitive area on skin and are painful to use. They are so pretty, but do not recommend.

I love these hooks! I just wish they were sold individually so I could buy a few of my favorite sizes as backups. My Clover Amour hooks are my backup hooks now. These are really nice and smooth. I do remember the being a little sticky at first but I ran the metal part through my hair and they became smoother and they seem to be getting smoother with time. These are going to be my trusty hooks, for sure!

Frankly, I was so disappointed based on the reviews I had seen on YouTube. The hook caught on my yarn and did not slide at all. I own less expensive hooks that perform better. I would have returned them, but wasn't even worth the shipping.

I love these hooks! Excellent price for a wonderful hook. I only wish there were more sizes.

It is an excellent product.It feels so comfortable when using it.It is my top hook to use for my future projects I just love them.

I received the dots late in a damaged box. I have used several of the larger hooks that were ok but a 2.5 mm bent and almost broke. I'm just a little upset because I wasted my money

These hooks are wonderful, and very cost effective. They function just as the Clover Amour hooks, but with a longer handle. I hold my hook like a knife and it sets perfectly in my hand. I do not have any issues with rubbing or pain from the dots. I did have 2 hooks that were not coated properly, so I contacted customer service and they sent me out the two replacement hooks! The two I received are perfect! I read some reviews complaining about the color.of the hooks, saying they look white. They are clearly a soft petal pink. (My son said that some people may have there blu block on and so their screen may be too yellow to notice). I am not a pink fan, however, the color of a crochet hook is not important at all, for its performance. My review is simple; Great hooks at a great price. Perfect weight and easy to hold. Glides through all my yarns effortlessly. Their customer service it amazing! These are wonderful and would make a great gift. I will be purchasing more sets of these hooks in the future. They make a great addition to my crochet life.

Love these hooks. The answer for those who use Clover hooks but find the short handles hard to work with for long periods at a time. The DOT design and pretty colors are a bonus. Just ordered my third set since they are half the price of my Clovers and I like to leave the hook with the WIP I am currently working on. Will probably be back for more.

At first I did not like these hooks very much, the shaft is pretty rough and the drag was pretty bad. I could actually hear the yarn squeak. But I loved the long handle and I have been doing quite a bit of amigurumi projects and I was using some value yarn that is not extremely soft after a few projects the shafts seem to polish up and then the glide was much smoother. So I made up a tube of the value yarn and for a few days I used it to polish up the shafts. They are not all quite there yet but are better, I have not had the opportunity to use them all in a project yet but I am sure over time the shafts will become smoother. Overall they are nice hooks, comfortable, made similar to clover hooks. But due to the drag I had to take off a star.

I like the shape and length of the hooks. They seem smooth and glide nicely but I really don’t like the color of them at all. The part that appears pale whitish pink is actually a lot more pink than the pictures show and clashes with some of the colors and looks awful. I know it seems petty to be hung up on color but I really like my hooks to look pretty. It makes working on a project more enjoyable in my opinion. So as for the design of hook I’d give 5 stars but the color is 3 stars.

I had been using Clover hooks for a very long time, then I got your Dots hooks and I am hooked on them. They feel so great while I crochet with my arthritic hands. They are longer than my Clovers and that makes a big difference. Highly recommend!

I'm on the fence with these. They do fine gliding in and out the stitches until you get to the 5mm, then there's a bit of drag. The finish isn't quite as polished as it should be. Mag polish helped some. The rubberized part stopping before the end of handle bugs me a little. It's almost slippery but I manage. The 2mm worries me. I'm not gentle on my tools and It feels like it has the potential to break. I'll still continue to use these and they'll be good to travel with. That said, everyone has their own personal style and preference in hooks so these will never be for all people. No hook is. It still gets 4 stars because of the price point and because some of the issues are what I consider-personal preference related. I'm sure these will be the perfect set for plenty of people.
