Description
This yarn cutter is the perfect companion for the crochet projects you carry along with you all of the time. The protected sharp circular blade does the trick when traveling. Includes 2½" long carabiner to fit around 1" strap.
Note: The carabiner clip is a handy way to attach the yarn cutter to your project bag, and it holds the weight of the yarn cutter very nicely. It will not, however, hold your body weight, so please do not use it while rock climbing.

I really had high hopes for this cutter and really wanted to like it, for my needs, with this said.... The PROS: carabiner is a nice feature to hook the cutter onto most anything, the design of flowers is nice and the concept for what it's suppose to do is great. It did achieve SOME cutting. CONS: feels cheaply made, the openings for the cutting areas are too narrow, the cutter can only cut up to a size 5 yarn. I tried a size 6 yarn and there was no way the yarn could fit into such a small opening, think of a person with a size 9 shoe trying to get their foot into a size 5!!!! Also, the blade(s) seemed dull, I really had to tug to get the size 5 yarn to cut. The opening(s) between the blade(s) also seemed very short leaving no room to push the yarn into the cutting area. I've purchased CLOVER cutters years ago and they are SUPERIOR to this one. This cutter would probably be good for anyone who uses finer, thinner threads and yarns, probably great for someone who sews and/or uses finer crochet threads and yarns, all of which I don't and can't use.
