ZigZag Lace Vest
Such an eye catching top is fun to make and a pleasure to wear! Its crisp stitch on a fairly basic construction fully reveals the beauty and texture of Eco Wool in a sequence of tonal lace stripes.
You can make it cropped or high-hip long, and wear as a tight fitting tank or a classic vest with suggested positive ease of 4" (pictured as a high hip length with zero ease).
The garment is worked as one piece from the bottom up – in the round until underarm, then front and back are worked flat separately and connected by shoulder seams. It features a fitted waist and wide slip stitch ribbing around the neck and armholes.
Stitch pattern is a repetitive combination of basic stitches (single crochet, half double crochet, half double crochet in 3rd loop and treble crochet). ZigZag Lace stitch is provided as written instructions and chart.
