I adore this yarn. I dyed 6 skeins of this yarn and each one took the dyes beautifully. I dont use harsh dyes, just koolaid and Wilton Icing colors. It abdorbed them so well. I wish i had unlimited funds for this yarn. I would be dyeing everyy day.

I dyed this yarn twice (with Wilton food coloring). At first, I was worried because when it's wet, it doesn't look the same at all. I was afraid I felted it, but it recovered its luminance when it dried. It absorbed the color well, except for my second batch, which I overdyed two times in hope it would become darker. I guess it was as dark as it could be with that kind of dye. The shine of this yarn is beautiful, and its softness too. Using blues and green, my yarn looks like mermaid's scales.
