Scary or cute? Such a cozy Black Cat Poncho will give you all the necessary warmth for trick-or-treating on a chilly October night. Offered in child's and adult's sizes, it fits everyone and works great for taking fun Halloween pictures!

The garment is worked in half double crochet in one piece. The softly rounded hood is worked directly from neck opening in turned rows; slip stitched on top and embellished with eye appliques and sew-on ears crocheted in the round. Wide cuffs around wrists are worked in the round from sides of body.

Body, hood, and ears are made from fuzzy faux fur yarn. Cuffs can be made from any bulky wool or acrylic yarn that keeps its shape well. You will also need some scraps of a contrasting yellow or orange color yarn for the eyes. Adult Poncho can be made mid-calf or knee long.
