Coloratura Lace Top
The Coloratura Lace Top features a delicate shell stitch in a range of colors that is set against a solid accent color. This top makes a sophisticated addition to your summer wardrobe.
The top is worked from the bottom up, initially in the round and then in rows for the front and back of the chest, which are identical rectangles. Finally, the front and back are joined at each shoulder, creating a boat neck. The top features a four-row lace repeat alternating with two rows of solid double crochet.
The pattern uses one main color and several different accent colors. Use a different accent color for each repeat of Rounds 3-6 in the main body and Rows 1-4 (or Rows 7, 2-4) of the front and back panels. Use the same color sequence for the front and back panels.
