Faux Fade Wrap
This multi-colored faded wrap is made from a simple 2-row repeat and uses just single crochets! The only technique you need to know is how to work the color changes, but I promise, once you see how easy it is to do one row, it's a breeze. I even included a link to a video to show you exactly how it's done!
Typical fades normally work the color changes a bit differently than I have done in this pattern. Usually, an old color will transition to a new color over many rows, fading slowly from old color to new. Here, what I've done is work each color-change section by working simply alternating the colors which would gradually fade the colors from old to new. This is why I named it the "Faux Fade Wrap". This is much simpler way to achieve a unique color transition (and it makes it a really easy pattern to work while you're watching TV and you don't have to pay that close of attention to your counting)! While only 5 colors are used, it gives the appearance of 9 thanks to the “faded” sections.
