The Fitzy Cardigan is a sweet shawl collar, button-down cardigan for babies, versatile for all occasions. The cardigan is worked flat as one continuous piece from the top down, back and forth in rows. After the main body is complete, the shawl collar is worked onto the lapel / neckline edge. The sleeves are crocheted directly onto the main body and worked in the round, joining at the end of each round, for a seamless finish. Two pockets are crocheted separately and sewn onto the main body with a yarn needle and length of yarn. One-inch buttons are added for closure.
