The double-breasted front opening and simple ribbed stitch pattern make this unisex sweater an instant classic. Extra long sleeves can be cuffed until baby needs the extra length. This coat is worked in turned rows, with very minimal shaping in simple single crochet ribbing, making this project suitable for advanced beginners. Work the hood and sweater fronts as one from the top down: one piece for the right and one piece for the left. Small crocheted discs (stitched to the wrong side of Right Front) reinforce button attachment points.
