Milo the Moorish Idol
Milo is a no sew design worked from the mouth down to the tail with separate branches worked to create his fins. The overall design is heavily influenced by the shape of the Moorish idol fish, but with some creative liberties taken including changing up the colored stripes the center of the body and the shape of the mouth. Milo is created using primarily single crochet stitches, basic increases/decreases, and a few half double crochet stitches to curve the tail fins. The colorwork technique I intend to use is fair isle crochet, keeping the floats on the inside of the work.
