I could not be happier with these. I bought another brand from Amazon while it was on sale for $60 then later found out those are very popular…I question why to be honest. Unless it was for their swivel cables which is the only reason I’m giving this 4 stars, because they are not swivel cables. But the hooks are flawless. I don’t have to take sandpaper to the head of the hook (I don’t know the technical term) to make it deeper or rounded they slide through stitches like a breeze and grab my feeding yarn with ease. It’s literally made working so much easier and faster. As for the swivel I just went out and bought a knitting adapter and use the swivel cable from brand C and that adapter works like a dream. Seriously best purchase yet. Maybe when I’ve got $200 laying around I’ll try a more luxury set and come back to revise this but as it stands this set is my go to hands down!

Revising a prior review: Adding a star. Can now compare these to another popular brand (small green plant, 3-4 leaves) and find myself using only these. The smooth finish makes up for some of the bluntness — but, mainly, I LOVE the mouth, groove, whatever it is called, for its extra depth and rounded shape at the top. I now own a much more expensive set of (plant named) hooks that I will never use because these work better.

These seem fine and they are very pretty. Two flaws: 1. - The tips are too blunt and need to be pointier. So many reviewers have commented on this that I am baffled by the seller's disregard of this; 2. - Tips should be available without cables. I also knit and now have enough cables to wrap around the house because there is no choice offered.

Lovely! I spent a long time looking at sets of cabled tunisian hooks and ended up choosing these. Having the cables is really nice for larger projects, like the pullover I made. Making a sweater with these hooks was nice--they go through the yarn smoothly and don't get nearly as squeaky as the metal hooks can. Like others have said, the rounded tips make it harder to work into the foundation chain, but I would recommend just working a row of sc with regular hooks before starting the tunisian. Problem solved! The color and patterns of the hooks are beautiful and vibrant.

Although haven’t used these hooks, yet, looking forward to that project. They’re beautiful to look at and hold, and soooo smooth. Working fast to finish the current WIP so I can get into that next project.

I like these Tunisian crochet hooks, but I wish that the head was a little bit sharper to get into the last stitch of the row. If Annette picks were to consider re-designing these crochet hooks, I would suggest that you would make the hook head less round and more sharp in order to get into those stitches. Other than that, the colors are beautiful, they are very light in the hand, and I enjoy working with them.

I really like these tunisian interchangeable hooks. They are much lighter than metal and very smooth so they glide through the yarn. Whereas the metal felt very uncomfortable in my hand these do not. The various length of cable makes them versatile. Plus, they are crafted from beautiful wood. The only thing I think could be improved is the tips as they are rounded and are difficult to get through the beginning chain. That is not much of a deterrent and I would recommend them.

So far, my favorite tunisian hooks! The long flat thumb hold at the base of the hook and smooth wood have won my tunisian fandom.

The shipping was really fast and when I opened them up they looked gorgeous. I recommend these hooks because they fit comfortable in your hand and they don't snag on the yarn very smooth. I'm planning on making a shawl and a blanket I can't wait to get started.

I love the smooth finish of these hooks and the weight is just right. I like that the join is very smooth so yarn does not snag and the cords are sturdy but flexible enough to work with. One thing that I'm not used to is the rounded head since most of the hooks I've worked with have a pointed head. I am a Tunisian crochet designer and I would have to say that the hardest part is just getting through the foundation row but after that it's smooth sailing it took a bit of getting used to but it was definitely worth it! Overall, I think it's a great practical and affordable set especially if you love the feel of wooden hooks!

I LOVE this hook set! I decided to buy myself a nice set since I’ve started learning Tunisian crochet. These hooks move through the yarn much more smoothly than the metal hooks I’m accustomed to using. The cords are easy to attach and remove. I also like how light the hooks are. In the past, I’ve used ergonomic hooks with a heavier feel and didn’t think I would like the lightness of these, but they are so simple to maneuver. I’ve used them for both Tunisian projects and traditional crochet products, and I may never use my other hooks again. Great buy!

I have used the Caspian interchangeable crochet set for a couple of years for yarns ranging from worsted and bulky to lace. I've just purchased the new Radiant interchangeable crochet set to learn double ended crochet techniques. I find the hooks easy to work and comfortable with for the most part, but agree with the many reviewers that they need to be more pointed. The rounded tips are the reason I rated the hooks very good instead of excellent, as for some projects I have found it very frustrating to insert the tip between the appropriate strands of yarn.
