This lightweight, airy cardigan is designed to show off beautifully colored yarns. A simple sideways construction creates an oversized and drapey layering piece that brings summer wardrobe staples into the spring and fall. The shape is similar to a kimono, but shorter - just past hip length. Solid sections alternate with a lace that is eye-catching but not so busy that it detracts from the hand painted and kettle dyed yarns.
The Whispering Wind Cardi is constructed sideways from two rectangular panels. Each panel is worked from the center outward, so they mirror each other when seamed (up the back and along the side body).
