With bright colors and subtle tweedy neps, this surprisingly soft yarn brings an exuberant and folksy charm to our selection of tweeds. The Fine Highland fiber has a soft hand with plenty of drape, but retains the solid structure of wool, making this perfect for cabling. Each colorway is created by spinning together a lighter and darker tone of the same color, which knits up into a surprisingly uniform fabric with wonderful depth of color. Neutral Donegal neps bring a distinct visual texture. Donegal is a series of viscose neps (think slubs or bits of lint) that are suspended in a very fine acrylic mesh which allows them to be spun alongside the longer wool. With such rich colors and that signature look of tweed, you have a vibrant and rustic yarn with plenty of charm.

The brilliant hues of Blue Bird are found naturally only in the wild’s most flamboyant inhabitants. Bright azure is given depth and only slightly restrained by a softer bright sky blue.
Frozen Pond is a muted grey blue wherein a darker blue-toned slate complements the subtle greys of pale ciel blue, mimicking the muted tones of frosty days.
