When you'll use it
Single crochet is a stitch that can be worked into chains. It is a shorter stitch, approximately as tall as it is wide. This is a common stitch for hats, shawls, garments, and amigurumi.
How to do it
Insert hook in indicated stitch or space, yarn over, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through 2 loops.

3. Pull a loop.

4. Yarn over.
